check out all that RPM stuff, High Roller. Are you sponsored by them or what? haha Just joking, you're truck is looking good and your smart to buy the RPM stuff instead of buying stock shit and replacing it over and over again. From my experience RPM is some of the best stuff you can buy. Next you need the RPM wear/skid plates, i have them and recommend them highly

Got Some parts in the mail yesterday

Not too bad I just need a hump pack battery, and an exhaust gasket and I'll be ready to run the Maxx.

roll cages

i just wanted to state i dont think i like roll cages so if your thinkin about gettin 1 or makin 1 i wouldnt cause if you flip the truck it pinches the antenna between the ground and roll cage and cuts it right off. that has happen to me twice. just wanted to let you all know what i thought about the roll cages.

just a few close shots of my engines

B.Y.T Poll

I have been dicking with my exhaust all day and I can't decide on how I want my pipe.so I'll get your opinion.

I made this exhaust out of the spare .15 head pipe I had and the pipe Craig sent me. I like It because it allows me to lower the body down more, but I will have to get an exhaust diverter thingy to get the raw fuel out of the truck. I don't like it because it will get the truck dirtier than the other pipe.

This is the pipe that came on the truck and it exits out the back and will keep the truck clean but it is real high and won't let me get the body down where I would like it.

So leave a comment and tell me which one you would run and why. or tell me what pipe I should buy or what pipe your gonna send me.

and it took me about 5 min to do this

it ripped the glued tire right off the rim so i broke a rim and ripped off the antena (gay)

my new whip (may the revo bash in peace)

The Maxx arrived Today

The Rustler was very curious as to what showed up in the mail today.

The rusty was scared of the big new truck.

Things settled down and some sniffing went down

Then some playing.

Then things got out of control and I had to separate them for a while.

So after seperating them

I thought I'd go ahead and clean up the new truck

She was pretty dirty

I noticed a few loose screws and thats when things got out of hand, so I removed the motor.

well if you got it out you might as well clean it

then I noticed the front shock mount was broke so I had to take that off.

This is what It looks like now

Wheel over haul

This is the stuff you will need to remove your tires from your rims, remove the chrome, and dye the wheels

I spent less than $20 on a 12 pack of beer and all the shit I need to do 2 sets of rims and have left overs for later projects

to remove the chrome get some LA's totaly awesome cleaner from the dollar store or get some oven cleaner. spray the wheels and wait, Remove the chrome it's kind of a bitch but it's worth it

spray and wait, scrub,scrub,scrub

once you have the chrome gone, to remove the tires from the rim boil the rims and tires for 15 min. and seperate

once separated put the dye into the boiling water and put the rims into the dye

While the rims are soaking go ahead and Tape the tires to keep them from "Knife edging" or growing and pulling from the rim and separating

out of the dye

once you have the desired color remove from the dye and rinse in cold water.

I took the foam inside the tires and cleaned them because the tire had separated from the rim and got a lot of dirt inside. After I got them out I mounted them on the rim and then mounted them on the truck.

The rims are traxxas on the front and HPI on the rear, There not exactly the same color but they are close. I think that is from being different manufacturer. They were harder to get the chrome off because these rims are pretty beat but they turned out ok

I still need to glue the tires to the rims,I'm waiting for everything to dry but I think they look good on the truck.

I plan on dying the Tmaxx wheels black when it show up in the mail(waiting on you craig) :) so don't steal my shit........
